HARRYBILT ENGINEERING Hi Rail Dumper

Product Overview

Harrybilt Engineering has developed a Triple Gauge and Dual Gauge Rail System designed specifically for the Wacker Neuson DV90 base machine.

The Friction Drive System converts wheeled dumpers for rail applications, enabling seamless operation on both road and rail networks.

Retractable rail wheel assemblies installed on the dumper positioning the vehicle on the rail, allowing the rear tyres continue to provide traction and braking, whilst providing train stop clearance. The rear end has a mechanical twist mechanism to suit the rail regulator’s requirements. All four rail wheels are fitted with park brakes to prevent “runaways”, as well as service brakes to make the unit more agile & productive.

All controls will be operated from the driver’s cabin. All hydraulic components are matched to the dumper’s specifications for flow rate, operating pressure and temperature.

Key Features

  • Minimised overbreak of trench line.
  • Minimal disturbance of trench face making for a safer more intact trench.
  • Lower noise impact than other methods.
  • Lower vibration impact.
  • Ability to reuse the material onsite as hardfill, thus reducing waste and increasing site efficiency.
